The First game you'll notice is the Shooting range. In this game you'll use the Wii remote as a gun, pointing at the screen and pulling the "trigger" which is the B button on the remote, when various target appear. These targets could be regular red and white circles, clay disks, ducks, or even alien space crafts!
During the first round you'll be asked to shoot very slow moving Balloons, so try to do this with precise accuracy. Remember that the more targets you hit in a row the more bonus points you'll earn, and in the first round that should be able to nail all the Balloons with ease.
During the second round you'll have to shoot red and white targets. This round is a bit more difficult in the fact that the targets don't stay around too long, but try to keep your combo up by not missing. Watch for the Gold targets that are worth 10 points each and don't shoot the targets with a picture of your Mii on them because you'll lose three points. Also watch in this round for random flying ducks and try to knock them out even if it means breaking your combo because they are worth a lot of extra points.
Next is the shoot the can round. Here you'll be shooting empty tin cans over and over again up to five times or until they fall to the ground. This round is all about keeping your combo up while dealing with multiple cans, so try to be as accurate as possible. If you have to let one can fall all the way to the ground, that's ok because you wont lose any points and keeping a big combo score around is worth a lot more then what the cans are worth.
The forth round is a skeet shoot where you have to shoot two clay disks. If you can manage to hit the disks within a few seconds of the time they appear on screen you'll score a huge five points per disk, and even if they are a bit far off you'll still score three per disk. In this round you'll be trying to score points not with your combo, but from hitting both disks before they get out of the five point range. Shooting the disks and missing may mess up your combo, but it will be well worth it in the long run.
The last round will involve you protecting six of your Miis that aliens are attempting to abduct with their space crafts. You can't hardly keep any kind of combo going in this round because of the rapid and irregular movement of your targets so don't worry about taking random shots. If a Mii is abducted and the space ship starts to fly away do whatever you can to save your Mii because for each Mii you have remaining at the end of the round you'll score ten extra points.
Also be aware of any stray ducks that may appear at the end of the round just when you think the game is finished. By hitting these few ducks you may score the few extra points needed to put you over the edge to earn the Platinum Medal.
Remember to remain calm and take careful aim when playing and keep a sharp eye on each of the targets you'll be shooting.

Post a CommentYeah, but what about the ducks/birds that fly up from the grass when the game first starts? I don't get any point when I think I hit them. WHat's that all about?
