Wii: Revolutionizing Gameplay

Whenever you think of Nintendo, you think of Mario or Luigi. Those are familiar characters that we've grown up to see in our childhood, and nothing has changed ever since. But did it??? Well, at least a little. Not only wil you see Mario in a new console, but you will see a new gameplay. Mario may be back, and he's definitely better than ever!

Ever since the Wii release, the console has been doing magnificently well. Kids and parents of all ages want to get a piece of the new console and Mario. With it's unique controller and system, kids and parents should find it familiar with the system. But there are a couple things that changed and Nintendo certainly knows how to deliver up the goods. Not only they will find it "interesting" but yet quite innovative.

When the Wii was released, it took consumers just a couple of weeks to understand it's impact. Not only parents were pleased with the price but also pleased in the unique gameplay it has. For example, when you play "Wii sports" in the Wii, you can literally play baseball. Yo actually need to swing the "wii-remote" in order to hit the ball. And not only baseball but also tennis, bowling, golf and boxing. All these mini-games show you a good perception and feeling towards the Wii. It is in fact something different to try out and get you a sense of the gameplay. If you are bored of tennis, why not go for golf??? It gives you these unique games to check in order to understand the Wii. Remember, these games come with the console once you purchased it, so it's a pretty good deal. And for $250, people of all ages will enjoy it one way or another.

So, does the Wii has it's flaws??? Well just a little. One major discrepancy you'll find in the Wii is the graphics. The graphics may be similar to the gamecube but it is a bit of a difference. If you compare a PS3 game to a Wii game, the changes are drastically. Even though the PS3 may have better graphics than the Wii, it is not in fact both the same. Each console has it's own characterisitcs and functions. And the Wii is no exception. But don't worry, the Wii's graphics are upgraded from it's original gamecube. There may not be the best of graphics in some games but there are ones that are very animated.

One other discrepancy in the Wii is the lack of mature games. Believe it or not, some Wii owners are still waiting. Of course the Wii is meant for any type of audiences but mainly adults want to try something new or unique. Kids will find it very easy selecting the games they want to play but adults may need to go to the PS3 to find one. With the lack of mature games, Wii owners expect more from Nintendo. Whether you are looking for "mature" games or not, the Wii does in fact have a good collection of games.

So, is the Wii worth it??? Easy answer YES! For one reason, I never seen a system that changed in style and play at the same time. And the Wii certainly delivers that. With it's unique controller, you'll be amazed at what it can do. Not only you'll be surprised by the style but also by the gameplay. And everyone can relate to it, there are no age requirements so you can play with your family or friends. I presonally have played all the systems, and I will say with great humility and sincerity that the Wii is as close to the evolution of video games that I ever seen.

I want one of these bad boys. I told my son that I would get him one for X-mas if he let me play with him. I think that this would be a win, win situation.
