Wii Sports Resort Game Review

A couple weeks back, my son and I were at the movie rental store and he saw they had Wii Sports Resort game there to rent. He has been wanting me to buy it ever since the release date, but I am the type of mom that tells her son that we need to rent it out and try it before we think about buying it. So, that day I told him we would rent it.

We took it home and within and hour I was standing up in the living room, breaking a sweat right along with my son. I absolutely love this game! Not only that, everyone in my household has fallen in love with Wii Sports Resort and we all range in ages from 6 to 66! This is a definite listing on Santa's wish list for this Christmas!

Wii Sports Resort has ten times better graphics then any other Wii sport game out there. The choices of games on this on Wii game is out of control. They are:

1. Swordplay
There are 3 different types of Swordplay's that take you all around the island. Those 3 activities are Duel, where you battle against the computer or an opponent. Speed slice, where you test your sword speed and Showdown where you run through the island slashing Wii characters along the way. My favorite is the Speedslice!

2.Wakeboarding
This activity is so much fun. You have to use your Wii remote to move your wake-board around the water to gather up points. The bigger the stunts, the more points you get!

3. Frisbee
There is one activity on here that is Frisbee golf! If you have Wii Sports, and played the golf completion that is golfing to hit the target board, this is the same thing just with a Frisbee. The dog that accompanies this game is as cute as can be too.

4. Archery
Pull back your Wii Nunchuck and try to hit the target in different stages!

5. Basketball
With either a pick up game or the 3-point contest, you will have fun trying to beat your previous score and nail some awesome baskets! I love the night games on this. The graphics with it are so unique!

6. Table Tennis and Golf
Table Tennis is the same as regular tennis on the Wii Sports game and same with the Golf one as well. The graphics are just different because now you are on the beach!

7. Bowling
You can still have the same 10 frame game, but they added a new activity under this one and it's a 10 frame game with 100 pins per frame. You can easily score 2000 in bowling under this new activity!

8. Power Cruising
Another fave of mine. You ride a jet ski through an obstacle course where you gain points for the faster your speed gets!

9. Canoeing and Cycling
Basically you are racing in both of these against other Wii characters! Only difference is once you are in the water in a canoe and the other on a bike throughout the island.

10. Air Sports
Here is where you put your balancing hand in motion. You jump out of a plane and try to connect up with other sky divers to earn points!

There is something on Wii Sports Resort for the whole family and it is very addicting. The only thing I think is wrong with the game is you have to purchase the Wii Motion Plus adapter for your remote control to make the games work. The box only comes with one. However the way the games are set up with this new adaption is so worth it!
