The Front Page
Here is where it all begins and finding the information you seek might require a little searching. On the right hand side of the home page, you will find a list of articles available. One thing to understand is that this is not all the information that's provided, but it does give you a great starting point.
If you're an avid player, the Wii Website offers a plethora of cheats that can help anyone advance through a game. You can access these by either clicking on the link towards the top of the home page, or clicking on any of the Random Cheats on the lower right side of the front page. Plus, you will also be able to access information on Wii backup games, unlimited download information, the support guide, and many other hot products on the Wii Website.
Understanding the Wii Store
Well, at first glance the Wii Website isn't going to impress anyone with great graphics and structure in the Wii Store area. You can access this section from the link on the home page, and when you're there you will see a single line list of products. We went through it page by page, and to be honest, we're not sure how many people would actually do it as well.
However, you can alleviate this issue by typing in what you're looking for in the search area. Instead of spending several minutes sifting through the pages, it can take you directly to the product that you want to purchase. Best of all it is a secure transaction, and isn't actually completed on the Wii Website.
New Releases and Games
If you click on the Wii games link, it will take you directly to a list of upcoming games. You will also find back issues from previous months when older games had hit the market. Keep in mind, it's common for a game to be in the new release section, but not actually in stores yet. However, if you click back to the Wii Store you may find a Pre-order setup for the bigger games.
You will also find a couple areas with banners for Game Fly. If you haven't heard of them before, they are basically the equivalent to Netflix except they rent out video games. While there are several options available for many gaming consoles, Game Fly has a wide selection of Nintendo Wii games, both new and old.
Watching Videos
The Wii Website videos are basically a way for you to sit back and enjoy the Wii revolution. There are so many new aspects to this gaming console that constantly come out, it's hard for most families to keep up. If you just want to take a few minutes out of your day, head to the Wii Videos section and watch a few trailers.
Taking Advantage of It All
While navigating through the Wii Website can be a little daunting at first, there is all kinds of information to help with your gaming console. So if you want to learn more about the Nintendo Wii and really open up your opportunities, head over to the Wii Website.
