Wild West City: A Western Theme Park in Netcong, New Jersey

For 51 years Wild West City has been entertaining families with their western theme park in Netcong, New Jersey. It can be easily accessed from those living in other parts of New Jersey as well as the surrounding states such as Pennsylvania and New York. A lot of people nowadays are trying to find fun, different and inexpensive places to travel to as an alternative to far away vacations. Wild West City is just the place for that! Wild West City offers plenty of things to do, a lot of which are included in your admission. For adults, it's only $13.50, children $12.50 and senior citizens $11.00. Free parking is included with your admission along with: living history exhibits, panning for gold, tour of the barn yard zoo, museums and exhibits, the picnic grove and 22 live action shows! There's plenty to do just with the admission price, but if you're looking for a little bit more fun you can also go for pony, train and stage coach rides!

They even have an arcade, plenty of little rides for kids and even old time photos! If you're looking for some wild west and American Indian souvenirs, you'll find lots in their different gift shops! The gift shops often contain replica cowboy hats, bonnets for the ladies, indian headdresses, toy pistols, rifles and various other toys for children. You can also find Native American inspired jewelry and books as wel!

One of the absolute best things about Wild West City is Main Street 1880! Walking down Main Street, you'll feel as if you're really back in time in the good Ole' West! From the authentic dirt thoroughfare, blacksmith shop and even a jailhouse! Along Main Street are also lots of historical exhibits with real antiques and other items from the real west. In the middle of Main Street, lots of live action shows take place! There you get to watch actors re-enact bank robberies and famous events with Jesse James! After all that walking around, you can visit the saloon for some lunch or even a visit at the bar. While there, you can watch Can Can Girls put on a show.

Once you visit, don't be surprised if your children beg you to have their next birthday party there! Wild West City offers 2 different party packages, priced from $22 - $27 per person. Each package contains an admission, three ride tickets and food. It would be a birthday your child and their guests will never forget.
