Outdoor Discovery programs offered by Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing are geared for kids between the ages of 8 and 12, and they are intended to introduce the campers to the basics of outdoor adventure. It is a blend of camping activities like canoeing, camping, hiking, and cave or rock climbing with traditional summer camp activities like archery and soccer. The kids are given all the supplies they're going to need at the beginning of their stay, and each day they go on a different type of adventure.
The one week sessions stay overnight in a permanent campsite, while the two week sessions have one week at a permanent site with one week of a traveling site throughout the National Forest.
