Will 2010 Be a Breakout NFL Season for Matt Leinart?

The college quarterback from USC set the world on fire for three years with his tremendous athletic playmaking ability, during his collegiate career he passed for 3,000 yards each season plus throwing for 99 touchdowns. Matt Leinart was that kind of college quarterback that seemed to have the skills to immediately compete in the NFL. It has been over three years that Matt Leinart has played a complete NFL season due to the fact that Kurt Warner took over the helm at starting QB, which sidelined him when Warner was having several successful and productive seasons, and producing some very impressive statistical numbers.

Will the Arizona organization let Matt Leinart take the helm in 2010, or will he sit on the sidelines for another season - where his talents will surely diminish if he does not have the time to immediately start for the Cardinals? The Cardinals organization must utilize Matt Leinart or release him to another team if they do not make him the starting quarterback, it may be a big mistake on their part to release him from their roster 2010.

It would seem that Kurt Warner's decision to stay retired may be a permanent reality, and if this is so - then it is definitely time for Matt Leinart to take his rightful place as starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. It may also be a huge mistake for the Cardinals organization to presume that they would trade Leinart for another QB, knowing very well he has the confidence and poise to lead his team to the divisional playoffs in 2010, and has the capability to lead his squad to a Super Bowl in 2011.

Irregardless of the situation at hand, or which team Matt Leinart plays for, will this be his breakout season in 2010?
