The momentum appears to be with Gore more now than ever with the Oscar win for his acclaimed documentary "An Inconvenient Truth. " The win was well deserved for a subject matter we have come to know is very close to the heart and mind of the former VP of the United States. He has been noted as suggesting the past that he would not run, but could his recent Oscar win redefined his future goals or plans politically.
The irony in having Al Gore elected back into the White House and as the commander and chief has a multitude of I told you so all over it where President Bush is concerned. Gore would essentially return to the White House the heroes President. The savior of the planet with the White House power to bring the planet and America's out of control pollutions levels under rapid and immediate control with the power to do so at his finger tips.
Even more importantly he would see the return of the American troops and the necessary measures to decrease America's involvement into the Middle East from that of war to that of peace keeping. Even if having to redeploy troops outside of Iraq until there can be a form of stability brought about by the Iraq people themselves.. The political speculation around will he won't he is turned heads from all side of the political arena. Gore has the power of persuasion on his side.
He is the potential candidate with the clean record, previous service in office, and a tremendous momentum rising daily behind the notion of his possibly making a run for the office that some might say was highjacked from him by the Bush administration in the first place. Could there possibly be an even better dream team in the form of Al Gore for President with Senator Barack Obama as running mate and Senator Hilary Clinton appointed Secretary of State as the ultimate Democratic strategic plan to secure the White House back from the Republicans? Only time will tell.
