Will Anyone Care What You Did for a Career After You Are Gone?
People Often Work in Careers Because They Are Trying to Impress Somebody Else
One day, we are all going to be like those that have died and others will one day walk past our headstones and not even care about whom you are and what you did with your life. However, under every headstone are many stories and many lives of people that once walked the earth and had dreams, jobs and a life just like you and I. Were they happy with their careers or did they hate their lives? What made them happy and what made them sad? Does anyone even care?
When we die, nobody is eventually going to care who we were or what we did. The living that you leave behind may care about you, but after they are gone and their children are gone, nobody will even remember who you were. Does that strike a nerve in you? It should because so many people are choosing their careers on what others may think about them. You have to ask yourself if your career is something that you always pictured yourself doing. You have to remember that not everyone is going to like what you do and you should be happy with whatever job that you are doing day to day. If you are not happy with your job, then its time to move on. Stop trying to impress people and start living for yourself. If you are working in a job that gives you great pay, but you hate it, then what good is it to have? Why even bother having the job?
One day when you pass away, your house, money and car will go to someone else that is alive and in a few hundred years, people won't even know that you existed. The point here is to do what you love and don't care about impressing others because you have to die with peace in your heart when it is time for you to join the heaven lies. Learn from those that have already died and realize that we cannot take our money and material possessions with us when we go. Whatever ever is inside of us is what remains of us. Our careers should be chosen by us because we feel a calling to do it. If you are not doing something that you truly love to do, and then you may want to pray and ask God what he is asking you to do. The more that you know yourself, the happier that you are going to be over time.
