Will Boerum Hill Ever Get Some Green Space?

There's talk of the possibility of a dog run on Schermerhorn Street, on the north side of Boerum Hill. There's talk of cleaning up the Gowanus canal, up through the south side of Boerum Hill. But will Boerum Hill ever get some green space?

Parks committee member, Mary Goodman, has suggested a few sites on Schermerhorn Street as a potential dog run. And you know how long and by how many vote-mongering politicians there's been talk about cleaning up the Gowanus Canal. How about green space wider than the bushes that fill the two feet median on Boerum Place? Or the paved-in Thomas Green Playground?
