Will Brooke Mueller divorce Charlie Sheen? The woman who has been married to the actor since 2008 wants out of the marriage as reported at RadarOnline.com. The marriage between the real estate investor and the star of Two and a Half Men has been rocky since allegations of drug abuse and domestic violence surfaced.

Brooke Mueller is trying to rehabilitate from drug abuse, but so is Charlie Sheen

Many were shocked to learn that Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen's third wife, was addicted to crack cocaine, a drug that some inaccurately assume is reserved only for the poor and downtrodden. Mueller entered drug rehab after the domestic violence incident between her and husband Charlie Sheen, in which Sheen allegedly threatening Mueller with a knife. The dispatcher remains on the phone with Mueller until the police arrive.

However, soon after word of Brooke's addiction to crack, Charlie Sheen has also reportedly been using drugs and alcohol and has also entered rehab. Sheen is no stranger to drug abuse and according to RadarOnline.com, the Department of Children and Family Services have been to the house.

Brooke Mueller should divorce Charlie Sheen to save herself

As reported at PBS's No Safe Place, "In the United States, one of the most dangerous places for a woman is her own home. Approximately 1,500 women are killed each year by husbands or boyfriends. About 2 million men per year beat their partners, according to the F.B.I."

Charlie Sheen has a history of violence against his girlfriends and his wives. Kelly Preston, who is now married to John Travolta, was once engaged to Charlie Sheen. Many remember that Sheen shot Preston in the arm. The incident was deemed an accident. However, as reported at Zimbio, one wonders if it was indeed an accident given Charlie Sheen's history of domestic violence. Kelly Preston left Sheen soon after the incident.

Sheen was married to actress Denise Richards before Brooke Mueller. Richards also accused Charlie Sheen of domestic violence during their marriage, as reported at TMZ.

With the current state of the marriage between Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller, it would be in Brooke's best interest to end it with Sheen. Mueller is trying to end her dependence on drugs, and it is hard to do that when you are married to a drug abuser. More importantly, by getting away from Sheen, she will take herself out of danger of being attacked.
