Casey Anthony: Will She Get Another Lucky Break?

The infamous Casey Anthony seems to have luck on her side. Anthony is supposed to return to Florida in 11 days to serve out her probation in relation to check fraud charges; however, her legal team is going to fight the judge on his ruling.

The judge ruled that Anthony would have to spend a year's probation after she was released from jail, as it would give the court time to watch her behavior. Unfortunately, the judge made a mistake, and signed an order that allowed her to serve probation concurrently with her jail time. Recently, Anthony's claim that she shouldn't have to be on probation was rejected due to the obvious error, but now her legal team is going to fight the ruling.

Once again, Anthony may very well get out of the situation on a technicality. One of the reasons she doesn't want to serve her probation is that she would have to return to Orlando, Florida, where she is especially disliked and not wanted. She may not be welcome anywhere she is recognized, but back in her home state the feelings are intensified.

Even her parents don't want her near them. Cindy and George Anthony's attorney, Mark Lippman, has said they don't know where their daughter is, and that she is not welcome to return to their home. That statement says a lot about Casey Anthony, and the truth of what happened in the murder of her daughter, Caylee.

Less than two weeks ago, Anthony was spotted in Ohio, where she apparently has a few relatives; however, she has been in and out of different areas around the country according to sources who are close to her. No doubt she is afraid of the many vigilantes who would like to see justice served. It won't be easy for her to return to Florida, let alone spend a long period of time in one place.

As part of her probation, Anthony would be required to live in Orlando. Though her legal team tried to fight this stipulation stating that it would be unsafe, the judge denied their claim. She would also be required to obtain a "lawful occupation", abstain from alcohol, and allow a probation officer to visit her at home or at work.

If Anthony is allowed to get away with not serving her probation, it will be another strike against the justice system in this case. How much longer will luck be on her side?
