Will Daniel Bryan Cash in His Money in the Bank Briefcase at Wrestle Mania XXVIII?

Spy Radio

On last nights episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan announced he will cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase on April 1, 2012 at Wrestle Mania XXVIII.

The WWE is having Bryan wait until Wrestle Mania XXVIII so they can attempt to put him over with the WWE Universe. Getting the WWE Universe behind Bryan is a good idea but Wrestle Mania XXVIII is nearly eight months away. Anything can happen during that eight months which is why waiting until Wrestle Mania XXVIII to have Bryan cash in his Briefcase is not the best idea in the world.

History shows us that waiting until the following years Wrestle Mania is not the best idea in the world. Former WWE superstar Mr. Kennedy won the Money In The Bank Ladder Match at Wrestle Mania XXIII. Kennedy declared that he would cash in his Briefcase at Wrestle Mania XXIV. Unfortunately Kennedy was injured one month after winning the Briefcase. Kennedy's injury forced him to defend his Briefcase against Edge. Edge defeated Kennedy for his Briefcase, making Kennedy the first WWE Superstar to lose their Briefcase. It was later announced that Kennedy had sustained an injury during the match which would keep him out of action for at least five months.

In the end Bryan may not suffer the same fate as Mr. Kennedy. The WWE may know that it is too risky to have Bryan wait until Wrestle Mania XXVIII. That is why they set the date for Wrestle Mania XXVIII. It gives them time to see if Bryan is World Heavyweight Championship material. It also gives them time to turn Bryan heel. If the WWE Universe does not get behind Bryan. The WWE can have him cash in his Briefcase before Wrestle Mania XXVIII on a weakened Champion. For those reasons Bryan will cash in his Briefcase sooner rather than later.

I think he might. It didn't work out with Mr. Kennedy, so maybe they're hoping this one will work out. I was rooting for Cody Rhodes, but congrats to DB! Response to your comment - I'm sorry. :-/ They'd probably be even more expensive on eBay, have you checked there? I hope you get one soon!
