Will Donald Publish a Personal Interview with Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John McCain ... Or Will He Just Stick with AC Content Producers?

Nikki
Fellow CP Donald Pennington has been interviewing a lot of writers on Associated Content and publishing the interviews. He's interviewed such notable CP's as Momie Tullottes , Carol Bengle Gilbert , Irene L, Rodney Southern, and others (including myself).

I thought it was time that someone turned the spotlight on him and asked him answer the same questions he posed to us, and to see if he has any plans to really spread his wings and interview Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or John McCain! So here we go!

Nikki: Who are you (by that tell me a little about yourself including personal stats like age, place of birth, etc...)

DP: In the beginning Don created...LOL! 37 years of running has resulted in a slightly sane divorcee. Taurus/Dog. I was born in Perryton, TX but don't know the first thing about what a White Deer is. I have four of the loveliest kids a guy could ever have. I'm doing everything I can to get back to where I can contribute what I can and should to their upbringing.

Nikki: What initially drew you to AC? Or, how did you hear of AC?

DP: I attempted to publish with Heliuuuuughm. They kinda kicked me in the teeth. While promoting those works on Yuwie, I ran into this guy a href= http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/49407/tyler_mills.html> Tyler Mills. He told me about how good AC was about paying...and boy was he right.

Nikki: What genre do you want to publish the most?

DP: I haven't made up my mind yet. There's so many good categories and genre that it's hard to pick which kind I want to steal. I keep trying for comedy, but since all humor is born from pain, I keep getting upset. Drama's predictable. Horror's lost it's romance. Romance is horror. Got any suggestions?

Nikki: What are your favorite titles so far? (and remember ... don't be modest.)

DP: My favorite subject! "Is That Contractor Legit?", and "Should Helping The Homeless Deserve A Death Threat?", and "The Fire-Brand of Truth" , and "Detoxify Your Body With Apples or Raw Veggies"

Nikki: How has AC Treated you so far? (relating to support, that is)

DP: I'm still waiting on answers to a couple of questions...but what the heck! 100,000 members should expect to see Ms. Helen Waite. Why should I complain? They focus on paying. How many writers in history had NO SUPPORT of any kind? Shakespeare's support department was his soul.

Nikki: Where else have you been published?

DP: I've done a few small, offline, print jobs. Mostly just some copywriting gigs. There's a couple of old gospel/inspirational poems in Denmark back 10 years ago.

Nikki: Please tell us about your favorite pet.

DP: Sure. "My Hero, My Friend, My Dog"

Nikki: What would you do with a million dollars?

DP: I'd make sure my Mom and Dad's last years were comfortable and I'd go fishing with my Grand-Dad. I'd pay my sister back and catch up the rest of my child support. I'd probably pay my ex's student loans and if THAT didn't tap me, I'd take some sky-diving lessons.

Nikki: In 100 words or more; where do you want to be when you're 50?'

DP: Where don't I want to be? By that time I plan to be richer than Nebuchadnezzar, and twice as sexy as I am now...if that's EVEN possible! Truthfully I'd be real keen to being the kind of Grand-Dad I had by that age. But they can wait for kids if they like.

Nikki: What is you're favorite quote about writing? (and who get's the credit?)

DP: "If I were told that I only had six months to live I'd change a few things. I'd type a little faster." -Isaac Asimov

Nikki: If you had any advice for newbies to get better exposure, what would you say?

DP: Network. And network some more. Don't forget to partner up and network too. BTW... Did I mention networking with other CP's of all kinds? This isn't just for others on AC either. There are tons of webmasters of non-AC sites out there who'd like a little free publicity.

Nikki: What prompted you to start your "AC content producer interview series"?

DP: It may not be all that permanent of a thing if it doesn't adapt and evolve. People are fascinating. Most of us would like to have a view into the lives of others. The rest of us love basking in the limelight. I'm so glad I picked you for one.

Nikki: Will you be publishing interviews with Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or John McCain ... or just stick with the famous people here on AC?

DP: I'd really rather stick with you lovely folks. I'm just not part of that oligarchy support network anyway. Look. If Arnie wants to throw money at me for an interview then hell yeah! I'll do it. But go figure the odds on that bet. I will be expanding into doing reviews of local merchants and businesses in my local area for fee or in trade. I hope I don't starve.

Nikki: Is there anything else you'd like to add, or want people to know about you?

DP: Yes. Please tell the world about Libby's situation in "Should Helping The Homeless Deserve A Death Threat?". That ... and that I love ranch OR tartar sauce on my french fries.
