Looking back on the past years of the American economy, there have been times like this before.
The worst of course was during the Depression. The stock market crashed and every one panicked.
However, why did the stock market crash? One of the most powerful underlining factors to that tragedy was one thing was the fact that no one let the public know what was going on. A big reason that the stock market crashed in 1929, was because people panicked and quickly pulled their money out of the banks. The act of pulling out all of their money is a major contributor to the stock market crash. The banks could no longer support themselves when there was no longer money in them!
People of that time, were not aware of what was going on. They simply didn't know what exactly was happening. That is why it is important to not only know what is going on in the economy, but you should also make sure that you know how to fix it. As Americans, if we are well aware of the economy as well as how to change things, then there is much room for improvement! Being aware of what is going on is extremely pertinent.
Another look back on history is the time during the two World Wars. This is another era when the economy of America struggled. However, during this era people knew the reasons why the economy was not at its' best. One of the biggest reasons was the war. All of the countries involved in the World Wars put up a lot of effort as well as money to help do their part. Americans were much more aware of what was happening around them and most did what they could to help.
Today we have economic trouble. However, looking at the past we can be assured that this is not the first time this has happened to America. It is another cycle we must endure. These days the people of America are well aware of the situation and are eager to find out how to help. Having that mind set is going to help save the economy alone. We are not panicking, we are not in the dark about anything that is going on. There is hope for all. We can learn from our past mistakes and push onward toward improving the future.
Only the people of America can truly have an effect that will turn the economy around for the better. We all must do our share! It can really make a world of a difference today!
