Will Emily Maynard Make A Great Bachelorette?

Is Emily Maynard a good fit to be "The Bachelorette" this coming season? Emily, who has a young daughter, was once handed the final rose by Brad Womack on "The Bachelor". The two obviously didn't work out and that opened the door for Emily Maynard to step into the role of "The Bachelorette" in 2012.

According to Access Hollywood, Maynard is said to be "scared to death" of playing the role. Let's face it. Emily wasn't particularly outspoken during her time on "The Bachelor" with Brad. She didn't say a whole lot at all.
That, however, doesn't mean she won't be able to fit the role quite well this coming season. She might not be the overly bubbly character that we've witnessed in the past. Emily may, however, serve as the strong subtle type.

In fact, Emily could be the best choice "The Bachelorette" producers have made in some time. She is a mother of a young daughter. She has faced adversity during her personal life and those issues have already surfaced on "The Bachelor." Now it appears all that's left is for Emily to find true love. She didn't make it work with Brad Womack. Does that mean Emily can't find a good fit with her potential 25 suitors? This year "The Bachelorette" might be well worth watching because of Emily. She's not the type to just throw her heart in the ring without reason. She will more than likely lean toward cautious optimism. That could be the most refreshing thing we've seen on the show in some time.

Recent seasons have produced somewhat sketchy scenarios. It doesn't seem likely that Emily would put up with such nonsense. While it's a given that kind of stuff may take place around her, it seems unlikely that Maynard would keep troublemakers around. She's a mom who wants a good role model for her daughter. For that reason, "The Bachelorette" could provide something completely unique this season. We could possibly be watching a lady in search of true love. No matter what happens, it seems obvious that Emily Maynard will provide a strong female figure with high morals on this edition.

Maynard will get her opportunity as the show begins production in March. According to People Magazine, the show will be produced in Charlotte, North Carolina so Emily can stay close to her daughter Ricki.
