Will the Ghost of Princess Grace Kelly Haunt This Royal Wedding?

Princess Grace like Princess Diana Met a Tragic Suspicious End

Marie McGill

Princess Grace was the first American moviestar to cause a worldwide circus when she married the father of Prince Albert and left everything she knew to rule the tiny but wealthy kingdom of Monaco.

The world was shocked, enchanted and dazzled by Hollywood's most beautiful woman's decision to become a Princess. It was almost as stunning as if Grace Kelly decided to enter a nunnery, as most suspucted it was the end of a promising career where Ms. Kelly had already won an Oscar and was the favorite leading lady of Alfred Hitchcock.

Her image will forever haunt Hollywood--- but does it also haunt Europe as Princess Grace also shares a link to the late Princess Diana since both died in horrificand suspicious automobile accidents?

Both Diana and Grace were princesses who drove photgraphers crazy for a glimpse of them at play, but both princesses were more than slightly sad and depressed when they realized the life of a royal icon is not the fairy tale one would assume it to be.

Princess Grace was an elegant and articulate spokeswoman for the tourist town of Monaco but she struggled with the pressures of raising her children in the glaring spotlight of fame. As her looks faded, some say she battled depression and her regrets of leaving the American theatre.

But Princess Grace was still a very lovely woman in her late 40's when she met her end after sliding off a cliff with her teenaged daughter Stephanie in the car.

Stephanie survived with minor injuries but mother Grace had sustained serious head and internal injuries which took her life the next day.

Some say that Stephanie, a stubborn teen, was arguing with her mother in the car when Grace lost control and crashed. But the Royal family and Stephanie have never talked about the incident publicy.

When Prince Albert walks down the aisle with the beautiful blonde Charlene Wittstock---- who strongly resembles his late beloved mother--- Monaco will be haunted by the image of America's most elegant moviestar who more than fifty years ago walked down the aisle with his father.

And like the wedding of Prince William and his beautiful bride Kate last month, people who witnessed the earlier weddings of the late Diana Spencer, and Grace Kelly will shed a tear remembering the beauty which once was and is no more.(As well as the shocking accidents which ended their troubled lives as royal icons....)

Let's hope Charlene is better equipped to deal with life as a fairytale princess in a fishbowl.
