Will Katy Perry and Lady Gaga Perform Together at the 2011 Grammys? Here's a Look at the Performers so Far

The list of performers for the 2011 Grammys is starting to shape up, and the show is going to be loaded with mega stars. Among the performers at the 2011 Grammys are first-timers Miranda Lambert and Arcade Fire, joined by old pros like Cee Lo Green and Eminem, who has come back in a big way by garnering a whopping 11 nominations this year.

When it comes to pairing up performers to make the 2011 Grammys even more epic, a Cee Lo Green and Eminem pairing would be perfect ("F*** You" definitely is a title Eminem should appreciate), but it's two female performers that could really make the 2011 Grammys one of the most memorable in years.

Katy Perry and Lady Gaga, two gals both known for their over-the-top performances and costumes, have also been announced as performers. It would be great to see the two of them paired up for a performance, and such a pairing would definitely be reminiscent of the unforgettable Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera performance at the 2003 MTV VMA's. But of course Katy Perry and Lady Gaga would need a third pop princess to stand between them to complete the holy trinity.

And who better than Britney Spears?Perez Hilton recently reported that the pop princess, whose new song "Hold it Against Me" became an instant web hit, was going to be performing at the 2011 Grammy Awards. A rep for Britney Spears later said that they could not confirm her appearance at this time, but Perez Hilton insists that his sources on the rumor are very good. But if Britney Spears can't get ready to do more than "Gimme More" for the Grammys, maybe Madonna could come fill the role of the Queen of Pop once again as she passes the crown to two more pop princess by way of a kiss. And of course "Burlesque" star Christina Aguilera hasn't exactly fallen off the map, either.

So while the confirmed Grammy performers are an extremely talented bunch, there's still more to come. Will we see the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, or Nicki Minaj (who would also be perfectly paired with Lady Gaga and Katy Perry) at the 2011 Grammys? Or will someone even more surprising step into the spotlight? Stay tuned as more performers and presenters are going to be announced soon.

I cannot believe the opinion stated is in favor of having Gaga and Perry perform together. They cannot be any farther apart. While Perry is in Candyland lying to her fans about how she wants them to feel free, Gaga is the only artist that can actually atest to her inspirations through her music. Gaga wouldn't dare go on stage with that amateur due to the fact that she doesn't want to embarrass herself by standing next to woman who cant hold a note other than shouting. And I don't know if you haven't paid attention to the pop scene over the past six months, but Perry is in a heated rivalry with Gaga to be the best. However, Gaga doesn't even seem to notice or care about the amateur. The evidence to this is the comment Perry made about Gaga's "Alejandro" music video. Perry's comments were unnecessary and they implied that she's obviously in a battle with Gaga. Well we already know whos winning that one. Perrry is a disgrace when it comes to
