Will Lady Gaga Bring Back Instant Polaroid?

Polaroid cameras were once famous for their instant photos. All you had to do with a Polaroid Instant camera was aim, point, click, and voila, your picture came out at the bottom in front. This was a revolutionary idea that started back in 1947 which allowed the photographer instant access to the final photo. There was no having to spend time in a dark room, applying chemicals to special paper, and developing the photos by hand. But by 2008, Polaroid discontinued the instant photography, much to Lady Gaga's chagrin. So what does Miss Gaga do? She gets a job with Polaroid, hoping to revolutionize the popular camera manufacturer. Her position is high, being a creative director, which means she has the influence to get Polaroid to start making those nifty cameras once again. For Lady Gaga, that would be perfect, since her Madonna inspired style commands that such photos be made of her. Back in the 1990's, also known as the pinnacle of the "Me" era, having instant photos was just as important as other forms of instant gratification. To top off the Polaroid deal, Monster, the manufacturer of headphones, signed Miss Gaga up for a major endorsement deal. Well, there is no way she could do any worse than Tiger Woods. She is definitely a stage creature and probably more conscious of her image than Woods, which definitely works in her favor.

Lady Gaga showed up at the Polaroid press conference to announce her new position in her usual style of an exaggerated hat and a slinky black dress. The hat resembles a huge parasol top made of feathers which would not be out of place if it was worn by a Madonna inspired geisha. It is cool nonetheless and adds a nice touch to Lady Gaga's resume. In the meantime, let's hope she is successful in encouraging Polaroid to bring back the instant camera in a retro style that can also be carried with a 1960's style wood purse. All that is left is for Bose to sign her on to endorse their top quality stereo systems, and a deal as such may not be far away for the new female symbol of the tech world.
