Will Lady Gaga Be the Next Michael Jackson?

Most music phenomenon like the late Elvis Presley, John Lennon and the King of Pop have attained their peak of stardom, not because they have to look weird to get the fans attention, rather, it was their talent; and their music that top the billboards, that made them achieved their superstar status.

On MJ alone, way back the childhood days of his career with his siblings (Jackson 5), most of his songs (and videos on later years) were loved by the masses and dominated the charts all throughout his career. And it remained that way, even up to the point when his reputation was tainted by accusations of child molestations; the fans worldwide just kept on patronizing and idolizing Michael.

I find it too premature for Rodney Jenkins to have that kind of vision for the lady singer; to consider her to be the next Michael Jackson, even if her video or videos were viewed by billions of viewers; we can't just pattern her to Michael with that as the sole basis, especially at this early stage of Lady Gaga's career.

Although they have similarities on expressing themselves in their very own unique way, but, we have to remember that long before Michael wore gloves and armor suits, he was an icon already back then.

What I like in Lady Gaga is indeed, she's very daring. She's not scared to experiment on her looks, which obviously had paid off and went to her advantage.

"We haven't seen an artist that really has no fear," Rodney Jerkins said.

I agree. But, that's not all that truly makes up a superstar like Michael.

Aside from the talent and the music, Michael is one giant philanthropist. His humanitarian works for Africa and a whole lot more; with that I don't think anyone could ever replace him, or follow his footsteps.

If Lady Gaga intends to, well, not to scare her or anything, but, it will be such a "big shoes" to fill in.
