Said Hailee, "I saw Lea Michele just walking to her trailer, and I was like, 'That's the girl from 'Glee.' I've got to go ask for her autograph!' So I walked up to her and asked for her autograph, but she walked by and a guy came and said, 'Sorry, now's not a good time!'"
Although Hailee was left in tears, she still has respect for Lea. "I was so sad! But she's beautiful, and she has an amazing voice."
Perhaps Glee's Lea Michele was in a hurry? Perhaps she doesn't give autographs? Perhaps she's just a diva? Says one Glee insider, "Lea acts like she's better than the rest of the cast. But the thing is, she legitimately is."
Michele may be good, but there's lots of "good" actors and singers who were once high on the hog. Stardom doesn't last forever. As Jimmy Durante once said, "Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way down."
True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld is on her way up. The teenager gave a stellar and noteworthy performance as Mattie Ross. She's already garnered a number of awards and nominations for the role. Expect to see much more of Hailee Steinfeld in the future.
Not only has Steinfeld excelled in the role of Mattie Ross, but True Grit is doing well at the box office. The film has produced approximately $15 million in ticket sales making it the No. 1 movie, surpassing "Little Fockers."

Movie Review: "True Grit"The Coen Brothers stamp this leathery western with genuine literary appeal, which I reckon is a genuine punch in the gut from Charles Portis's novel True Grit.- True Grit Review Ratings High and TrueThe original "True Grit" had the large shadow of John Wayne over it. But for this new version, the Coens, Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon and Josh Brolin cast their own shadow with critics - although an unknown little girl h...

Post a CommentWow just because the woman would not sign an autograph I can't believe that this really goes on in the movie/TV industry how petty is it to cry because you couldn't get an autograph.
Oh my gosh! Seriously? She has worked since she was like 8 and people are going to cry if it's "not a good time" for her. She's young and hard-working. She will be around for a long time, therefore treat her with respect. She is talented.
I have seen may account of Lea signing autographs and picture. No one can do everything for everyone. People are making way to big a thing of this. Lea has been working for 15 years people are acting liking she will be a flash in the pan. Sorry she has already done more than most people who try to work in show biz. Maybe it just wasn't a good time she was at work people.
@Karen - TV stars have a shorter shelf life than movie stars. Lea should probably chill.
Excellent report. I read about this this morning and it's not the first time I have read that Lea Michele has snubbed her fans. Talented she may be, but people will quickly lose interest in her if she shows no warmth to the people who have supported her.
