Will Michael Rosenbaum Return as Lex Luthor on Smallville?
Michael Ausiello of TVLine.com confirmed that Kristen Kruek would not be back as the long-running series is ending its tenth and final season. "Smallville" producers are still chasing after Michael Rosenbaum hoping he will return for a final appearance as Lex Luthor, and Ausiello calls them "cautiously optimistic."
"Smallville" returns from its winter break on Friday, January 28 when Allison Mack makes her own return as Chloe Sullivan for a five-season arc.

For now "Smallville" fans can rule out Lana Lang and continue to play the waiting game hoping Michael Rosenbaum will return as Lex Luthor.
