A text posted on @sundarpichai said " Yes we will have another batch that will ship out this month. Should be an exciting few months ahead. " For those who do not know Sundarpichai is a Vice President of Product Management at Google.

This is good news for the thousand's of people who recently applied for Google's Pilot Program. The program was designed for users could beta test the new Google Chrome OS on the Cr-48 Notebook. As of right now the program is still free to sign up for & you might get a chance to get a free laptop!

The great thing about this laptop is the fact you have almost instant access to the internet with a boot load time of around 10 seconds or less. Please keep in mind the whole fact of the Pilot Program is not just to get a free laptop, It's setup for new users to best test the new Google OS operating system. You are asked to use it freely in return to hopefully give feedback on any flaws or errors that can be found. The system is apparently virus free due to the fact it uses a cloud type system os. Where everything you do is not actually stored on your laptop, instead it's stored on some super fast secure online Google Servers.

This has made quite a few people paranoid & worried that their information will not be safe. Then again it has made thousand's of college students happy with the portability and price tag.. Freebie!! At least knowing they are sending more is a relief to some who spent hours waiting for it to show up. I did come across a website that list when they are shipped & how many all though I can not tell you if it's correct. Do a Search for Cr-48 Tracker on Google or your favorite search engine to find it.
