No Philadelphia fan can predict or be sure if Kevin Kolb has what it takes to lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a winning season in 2010, but one thing is for sure, if he falters badly in his first year he will immediately feel the wrath of Philadelphia fans. Even though Kevin Kolb had an impressive start in 2009 when McNabb was sidelined with rib and chest injuries, this is not a tell-tale on how well Kolb will play in a complete NFL season.
Kevin Kolb was selected in the second round as the overall 36th pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. Kolb was an understudy QB learning the ropes from Donovan McNabb during his tenure as a benchwarmer, and now the time has come for Kolb to show what he is made of. The question is, does Kolb have what it takes to become a premier NFL quarterback, a leader who can lead the Eagles to a championship title?
Kevin Kolb has an opportunity to make the Philadelphia fans a believer in his skills, or make him the hot talk of the town if he becomes a born loser in 2010. Kevin Kolb's collegiate career at Houston was above average, time will tell if he can become the next McNabb or maybe even reach the super status of a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.
