Will Rosie O'Donnell Make it on OWN?

Oprah Winfrey has tried to dispel the rumors that their is a rift between her and Rosie O'Donnell about Rosie's upcoming show on Oprah's new network OWN. Oprah tells the public not to buy into the rumors. She said that she is sick of people trying to create feuds and fights among women who go into business. Oprah tweeted about the situation, saying its all nonsense. She's says her and Rosie haven't even had a conversation about the show.

Sources tell Popeater that the two are butting heads over the direction of the new show. It was reported that Oprah is said to want a friendly daytime talk show, while Rosie thinks the show should be more political & liberal, and a place where she can express her own views. Rumor also has it that the two are disagreeing over staff for the new show. Oprah is said to want an executive producer that she knows and trusts, while it's being reported that Rosie insists she should be able to pick her own staff.

If these rumors are true, which Oprah is denying, the show is off to a bad start, before it has even started taping. If the two women can't see eye to eye on certain issues, including who really is going to be the boss, Rosie could be in for another split relationship, this one before it even had a chance to get on the air.

Rosie O'Donnell is known to have had a lot of problems with relationships in recent years, both personal and professional, so it's really no big surprise that this one could also have its share of issues. Rosie recently split from her love relationship with her partner of a little over a year. Prior to that she was in a relationship from approximately 2004 to 2007. Rosie made a dramatic exit from the ABC's daytime talk show, "The View", in 2007 after a highly publicized feud she had with Elizabeth Hasselbeck. When she co-hosted "The View", she was well known for liberal and extreme comments on that show.

Rosie O'Donnell, the 48 year old comedienne, actress has 4 children. This is the first time since 2007 that she is scheduled to be back in an interviews seat since 2007. It's a fresh start for her and hopefully it works out well for both her and Oprah Winfrey in this new gig on Oprah's new network OWN.
