Will Sam Moran Replace Greg Page from the Wiggles?

Now that Greg Page is Expected to Announce His Wiggles Departure, Will Sam Moran Replace Him?

Greg Page - the yellow-shirted Wiggle known as Greg Wiggles in "The Wiggles World" of Wiggle lovers - is sick. Tomorrow, Greg Page is expected to announce his departure from The Wiggles' phenomenally successful franchise that he helped found. And possibly announce that Greg Page is being permanently replaced with Sam Moran.

Naturally, Wiggles-lovers will want to know: Who is Sam Moran? Where did Sam Moran come from? Will Sam Moran permanently replace the beloved Greg Page as Page tends to his mystery illness?

Here are a few answers: Born and raised in Wagga, Sam Moran auditioned for a role on the tour version of The Dorothy the Dinosaur Show in 1997, and won it.

"I was over the moon when I found out I got the role of host, it was the big break I had been looking for," the Daily Advertiser quotes Moran as saying.

After hopping aboard with The Wiggles in 1998, as host of The Dorothy the Dinosaur Show, the Australian spin-off, Sam toured Australia and New Zealand, and later showed up in the Toot Toot video and Celebrity Big Brother with The Wiggles.

It was a long and windy road from the days Sam Moran spent singing and tap dancing throughout his days at Tolland Public School, and later Mt. Austin and Kooringal High Schools.

Back then Sam Moran dreamt of being an entertainment star. More than 20 years later, his dream is coming true. Best known for his operatic solos and never-ending notes held as Professor Singalottasonga, Sam is also dances with in Wiggles videos and during concert tours. On the Wiggles record albums, he's one of the main singers known as The Manzillas.

"The thing about this job is that it's fun," Sam told the Daily Advertiser. "I get to meet so many incredible people and, best of all, I get to spend my time doing what I love - singing and dancing on stage."

According to news reports, Sam is engaged to Wiggles cast member, Lyn Stuckey. Moran met Lyn Stuckey, a one-time Dorothy the Dinosaur star, in 2003 while working together.

"We got to know each other as friends first and then it became more," Sam told the Daily Advertiser. "Lyn is a wonderful woman, I feel so lucky to with her, and the great thing is that she is a part of The Wiggles so we get to travel and tour together."
No matter what happens with the beloved group, parents and children across the world will be watching.

I am 15 years old and I like The Wiggles. I didn't know Greg was replaced until a few months ago. When I clicked the show that said The Wiggles it was actually Wiggle and Learn which confused me enough then I saw there was another man in the yellow shirt! I said "Were did Greg go! This is not Greg!" then I looked it up and found out Greg was sick and retired. I was so upset. Sam is ok but I miss Greg. The new show Wiggle and Learn with Sam, is all done on a green screen The Wiggle's show was done on actual sets, thats what I miss the most.
