Will Smith: The Best Actor in the World

Many actors throughout time have created great movies and are well known to us. While other actors come and go, Will Smith is one of those beyond talented actors who have created many great works of art. Whether it is his music, directing or acting Will Smith continues to create good content and earn his way to being the best actor in the world.

Will Smith was born in Wynnefield, Pennsylvania, which is in the West part of Philadelphia. He was born on September 25, 1968 and his original birth name was Willard Christopher Smith, Jr. I actually found Will's original name quite funny. I wasn't expecting that to be his full birth name.

Will Smith rose through the ranks of fame as a star rap artist named The Fresh Prince. He did duos with his hip-hop friend Jeffrey who was called DJ Jazzy Jeff. After some time Will had raked up 2.8 million in tax debt and Smith was nearly bankrupt. It was a major hit TV comedy the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that helped him climb out of debt and continue his stride to glory. After this hit television series, Will started starring in some hit films. Some of these great films include Bad Boys, Men in Black, I Am Legend, and I Robot, the list goes on and on. His latest films include the action packed "Hancock", and "Seven Pounds", both decent movies. He also has continued his music career as a solo artist and has had some success with that as well. His latest album was "Lost and Found" which he created in 2005.

Will Smith has accomplished many great boundaries no other actor, artist ever has. He is the only actor in history to have eight consecutive movies reach 100 million dollars in the domestic box office. He also had eight consecutive movies reach number one in the domestic box office. He has been nominated for two Academy Awards, four Golden Globes, and has won several Grammy Awards.

Will Smith has overcome many challenges and tests as he made his way to the top. He has survived at the top for some while and continues to strive. He could be considered one of the best entertainers of all time! Whether it is his music or his movies, Will Smith has always been good at what he's done and hopefully he will continue this trait. Will Smith is truly being the best he can be.
