This season's Survivor Redemption Island South Pacific is a roller coaster ride. Some of the boldest and riskiest moves were made. Those moves were made by Ozzy, our Redemption Island contender and by the intelligent and witty John Cochran, a lifelong Survivor fan better known as "Cochran."
Ozzy is one of the most strong, agile, skillful and resourceful contestant on Survivor. He's able to catch fish, climb trees, swim fast, and win challenges. Last night, Ozzy wins another duel and is one step closer to getting out of Redemption Island. Ozzy uses Redemption Island to its full advantage. He eats all the fish he can catch, consumes all the fruits he can gather and takes the time to relax and enjoy the peace. Now that Cochran is his next opponent for another duel, will Ozzy come out of Redemption Island and start kicking some Upolu ass? All arrows point to YES!
Like Matt (last season's contestant), Ozzy was sent to Redemption Island twice. The only difference this season is that Ozzy sent himself there the first time around. Upon losing a challenge to Upolu, it was Cochran who was next to go. Since Cochran was the one who fumbled during a challenge causing Savaii to lose, it was only fair that he goes next. But because of the highly anticipated and predicted merge, Ozzy feared that the undefeated Christine will once again win a duel. Thus, this will cause Ozzy's tribe the Savaii to be short in numbers and result the Upolu tribe to gain in numbers by 5 to 7.
Ozzy made the riskiest move by sending himself to Redemption Island. His move however was not made in vain because Ozzy beats Christine right before the merge. Both tribes were then even in numbers and the game is so on!
Things, however did not go as planned for the original Savaii tribe. Cochran decides to jump on the Upolu band wagon and vote out Keith, one of his own. They were picked off one by one as Cochran grinned and shamelessly watched.
Though Cochran thought he was Coach's dragon warrior, he was ultimately sent packing. Cochran takes the walk of shame to Redemption Island to face Ozzy. What awaits Cochran at Redemption Island? Will Ozzy be kind enough and give him a piece of fish and fruit? Of course! But Cochran's chance of winning a duel against Ozzy looks pretty much slim.
