When Tom Brady won the MVP award in 2007 - it would turn out to be a magical season for the New England Patriots QB. Tom Brady defied the odds to break Peyton Manning 49 touchdown record in 2004; Brady would go on to throw for 50 touchdowns in 2007. The previous record holder of 48 touchdowns in 1984 was owned by the Hall of Fame QB Dan Marino, this record stood the test of time for over 20 years. The incredible talent and skill of Tom Brady may be even more present as he gears up for the 2010 NFL season, and without a doubt - barring injury he may have a chance to have an MVP season in 2010.

The New England Patriots 2010 season will undoubtedly depend upon Tom Brady having another great season, one which will lead the Patriots to another divisional playoff appearance.

Tom Brady has help lead the New England to more winning games in their division than any other NFL QB; the only other QB with the second most winning percentage is none other than Peyton Manning.

Great players feed off of their competitors on field achievements, and there are more than a few quarterbacks who fit this description, this is where Tom Brady gets most of his inspiration from - as he ranks among the top three most prolific winning quarterbacks of all time.

Even though Tom Brady only played in less than one half of a game in 2008 due to knee surgery - he would come back to have an outstanding season in 2009. Captain Cool will be back with a vengeance in 2010 - due to the fact that the New York Jets managed to represent the AFC East, while the Patriots where held in reserve to be mere spectators.
