Prince William and Kate Middleton to wed in 2011 in London. It is unknown exactly when or where the royal couple will wed, but it will be in the spring or summer of 2011.

Prince William of Wales proposed to his girlfriend of eight years, Kate Middleton, on a recent vacation to Kenya. He said that most men would understand that it took him a long time to get the motivation to ask her even though he had been wanting to for a long time.

The prince asked for the approval of Kate's dad and he got it. Kate's parents are absolutely thrilled that their daughter will be marrying the prince. They said that they have gotten to know him over the past eight years of dating.

Although Prince Harry owned the 18 carat sapphire and diamond wedding ring that belonged to Princess Diana, Prince Charles former wife, he happily gave the ring to his brother because his mother would want the future queen to wear it.

Prince William proposed with Diana's ring because he said that he wanted his mother to be part of the special day.

Kate Middleton has said that the thought of being queen is "daunting". Prince William and Kate Middleton are both 28 years old and met eight years ago at St. Andrews University in Scotland. Middleton is a fashion buyer and the prince is in the Royal Air Force.

The couple plans on living in North Wales after their wedding in 2011. The Queen of England, her husband Prince Phillip and Prince Charles are all very happy about the engagement.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana had two sons, William and Harry, before divorcing. Princess Diana was hounded by the media throughout her life as a princess. She died in a car accident in Paris, France after being chased by reporters. She was not wearing a seat belt.

William has tried to protect Kate Middleton from the media scrutiny, but she is still the most photographed woman in England. She is photographed walking to her car, getting a parking ticket and going to the grocery store.

Kate's life will never be the same now that she is the future wife of Prince William, the second in line for the throne. One day she will be queen. It is believed that Prince Charles will never be King. He will either refuse the post, or his mother, the Queen, will pass right over him and make William the next King of England. The Queen took over for her father over seventy years ago after he became ill. She became Queen in her early twenties.
