Williamsburg is Invaded by Belle & Sebastian
Scottish Indie Rock Will Be in Full Effect when B&S Take Over the Williamsburg Waterfront
Brooklyn, NY 11211
United States of America
I'm already committed to seeing Talib Kweli and M.I.A. at Brooklyn Bowl in the next few weeks, and then AMNY drops this bombshell on me.
Belle & Sebastian are playing the Williamsburg Waterfront for the oh, so steal of a price of $37.50.
The inner hipster of mine is screaming to attend this show. In case you forgot, Belle & Sebastian are the best (and only?) Scottish indie-pop-rock band around.
Belle and Sebastian have flown under the radar for most of there career, so I'm not surprised that the concert announcement was relegated to an inch of space in a free, daily periodical.
I haven't been to the Williamsburg Waterfront before so I am excited to check out a new venue in the process of seeing a great band. I'll report back on how well the show goes over!
For those living under a skinny-jeans rock and aren't familiar with B&S, you will definitely like them if you are into bands like The Smiths and Snow Patrol.
I will be wearing my best sweater vest, Vans slip-ons and bold-rimmed glasses. Where will you be?
