Willow Smith Whip My Hair
Willow Smith was born October 31, 2000 to Will and Jada Picket Smith. This is the couple's second child and she is third born for Will Smith. She seems to have gotten talent of both parents in acting and singing.
With her tenth birthday in sight, she has this quickly climbing record "Whip My Hair, four movie roles and a TV series under her belt." In her time off, she is a youth Ambassador for Project Zambia, which is an organization, which helps children who were orphaned in Africa. She is one busy child, but she is making a huge name for herself.
In her first movie role, she played the movie daughter of her real father in I am Legend which was released in 2007. .In 2008, she was in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl and did the voice of baby Gloria in Madagascar 2 the escape from Africa. In 2009 she was the voice of Abby is Merry Madagascar. In 2009 and 2010, she assumed the role of Young True on the Nickelodeon television series True Jackson VP.
If the recent release of the 'Whip My Hair' song is any indication of the stardom for this young girl can achieve, I suggest holding onto your socks. For a nine year old, she commands an audience, and I am sure she will be commanding them more often as she releases more songs.
The You tube video which appears below in the resource section had seen over five million hits in the span of a few days! In that video people can watch, this young lady as she performs a song, that encourages everyone to whip their hair and be themselves. This is a great message to send to the children of the United States who are sometimes under a huge amount of peer pressure to be just like everyone else.
