Willows in the Wind

the idea of you and me,

Its something that I have fought with inside

but have found that its just the way it had to be.

Maybe in past days our love had to be in secret

something we couldnt share with the world.

Its something that I am still hiding from everyone else thats important to me

You nurture me like a warm coat on a winter day

you give me an outlet like a cool summer breeze

your heart whispers to me like a willow in the wind.

How is it that something so perfect could be hidden with such shame,

why does life have to be such a loosing game.

I long for the day we could be together in a world that isnt so cold

that people would accept that your my willow in the wind.
