My schedule is so tight that I rarely have time to have a leisurely lunch. Most of my lunches consist of clients, candidates or business associates. I decided it was time to mix business with pleasure so I recently sat down for lunch at Willy's Mexicana Grill in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
I knew from watching people form a line outside of Willy's that the best time to visit the establishment is between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. I grabbed a couple of co-workers and Copywriter friend of mine and we headed to lunch around 11:30 a.m. Once we got inside Willy's Mexicana Grill, I noticed that it was just as lively inside the restaurant with all the bright, yellow, green and red as the signage outside. The colors actually make you smile!
I checked out the menu and they have your regular Mexicana items, such as tacos, burritos and quesadillas. I didn't really want anything too heavy, so I went for the vegetarian quesadillas which included black beans, various veggies and peppers. One co--worker chose a chicken burrito with all the regular fixings and the copywriter ordered the Chicken Nachos which by the way were simply divine.
Once I tasted my vegetarian quesadillas I was instantly impressed. The ingredients were so fresh and bursting with flavor. I have frequented other Mexicana style restaurants and have found that some of the items on the menus are flavorless or too spicy. However, Willy's got it just right. So, I give them thumbs up on taste!
Okay, so the food taste great, but what about the prices? Again, thumbs up there because you can have a very filling lunch for about $4.00 and in this economy that is tremendous! I recommend you check out your local Willy's nearest you for great food at a great price. For more information visit them today at www.willys.com. Also, for all you Green lovers, check out what Willy's is doing to Go Green too or visit the Sandy Springs location at:
