WIN Home Inspection: A Review

First off, the customer service on the phone was great. Not mediocre, not good - great. I had originally scheduled a date for inspection that we were both happy with, but when I contacted the seller he wanted it done before that date. I called WIN Home Inspection back and sheepishly asked if they had anything sooner, and within minutes I had a new appointment that was four days earlier.
The gentleman who services Yucaipa, Dennis Pelissero, was going to do the original inspection, but since I had to reschedule, a very nice and cordial man named Tony Giordano showed up instead. The inspection was scheduled for nine in the morning, and when I showed up at 8:55 he was already there and ready to go.
I am a first-time home buyer and Tony from WIN Home Inspection was extremely considerate of that fact. He did not make me feel uncomfortable at all, and assured me that if I had questions to ask, he didn't mind one bit. He took his time with the inspection, taking pictures and speaking into a digital recorder he carried with him. He was also very thorough.
He has an entire mobile office in his WIN Home Inspection mini-van, and prepares the reports on site. I asked him to e-mail me my copy, and that is when I got my second good surprise. His report was emailed to me the same day. Not only that, but it was so spectacularly detailed that I couldn't believe my eyes. The report was in PDF format, and it included very clear images of every issue, along with his recommendations. I could not have been happier.
In short, I would recommend WIN Home Inspection for any home buyer, or even if you just want the place checked out. Their cost was very reasonable, as well.
