Win Limited Edition Items from Zynga Through Zynga Lotto

Zynga, the maker of some of the best games on Facebook has released a site, which once you share some information with them, you can possibly win a prize through scratch off tickets. I personally think this is an amazing item and builds on their previous release of items through 7-Eleven, earlier this year. As someone who would rather keep my money in my pocket for things I need in real life, I applaud Zynga for making this a free item for all who play their games. Whether that is taking care of your farm in FarmVille, Shooting it out in Mafia Wars or taking care of your piece of land in FrontVille, Zynga allows you to have a chance at winning limited edition items for your game of choice.

How do I sign up?

Signing up is easy. Head on over to the lotto web site at http://lotto.zynga.com/ and enter your information (name, password, birth date). Then you will have to do a captcha (type in the characters you are provided). You will be presented with a scratch-off ticket and three chances to find a star.

If you find the star, you will be given a choice of items to claim, based on the level star you uncovered. As a big player of FarmVille, when I uncovered the star and had a choice of set one items, I picked the red goat.

What are my options for Prizes?

It all depends on the prize you uncover. You will have a choice of prizes from the five Zynga games available. There are a total of four sets under each of the five games, which are listed below:

How do I get more tickets?

You will ask friends to send you tickets through the Zynga lotto web site. You can ask up to 20 friends a day for tickets. Each ticket will give you a chance to find a star and win another prize. If you find and invite finds you will receive a bonus of 5 extra tickets.
