Win a Music Scholarship at Bayfest

To celebrate their 15th anniversary Bayfest 2009 in Mobile Alabama is offering $15,000 worth of music scholarships to be shared among 15 talented High School musicians to further their music education. Students from Mobile and Baldwin Counties are eligible. The money can be used for music education, music lessons, instruments, sheet music, vocal lessons and music camps.

Winners will be selected based on a completed application signed by a representative from your school (a teacher or administrator) and a videotaped audition. Performances need to be about two minutes long. State your name at the beginning of the tape and make sure to label your entry.

Students must attend the Bayfest Music Industry Education Program to be eligible to win. The program is scheduled for September 12, 2009 at the Mobile civic Center from 10:30AM -3:30PM. Vittles will be included.
