Included in the box is a cleaning head, handle, extension pole, and a water activated pad with Windex cleaner on it.
The cleaning head has textured strips on it which allow the cleaning pad to securely adhere to it.
The no-scratch cleaning pad comes pre-coated with Windex Sheeting Action formula cleaner. All you have to do is expose the pad to water and start wiping. The box says each pad cleans about 20 windows. We cleaned close to 25 windows and there was still foam left. We most likely could have cleaned a few more using the same pad with no problem.
The extension pole is actually 4 separate 1 foot sections that have to be put together, but assembly is a breeze. Once it's put together, one end attaches to the cleaning head and the other end is threaded, so you can use additional extension poles if needed. It's about 4 feet long after assembly. It's made of hearty plastic and is lightweight but sturdy. My only complaint is that, once assembled, you can't take the handle apart for easier storage.
All you have to do is spray the windows with the water hose, rub the cleaning pad over the surface of the glass, and rinse the suds away. That's it! No scrubbing or hand drying required. So what about the claims of the streak free shine? Two thumbs up! All we did was get the water hose and rinse the foam off the windows and the glass air dried with no streaks.
Retail price for the initial kit is about $15 and the 2-pack refill cleaning pads sell for about $5.
I give the Windex Outdoor All-in-One Glass Cleaning Tool 4 out of 5 stars. It lives up to its promises and turns a dreaded task into a simpler, quicker, less daunting experience. I was very impressed with how well this product works and will continue to use it to keep my windows sparkling clean and streak free.

Post a CommentGreat review. Still haven't' tried. Maybe this year.
Good review, will have to try this product. =)
Count me in on the "I don't want to do windows" crew -- and while it doesn't make me *want* to clean my windows more, at least I know it will be much much easier! TY
I always wondered if it was as easy as it looks on T.V.
Excellent review!
Wow......I had been wondering about this. TY.
I had been wondering about this one! Thanks.
I'm impressed and thank you for this review.
I was wondering how this works...if it was really as good as the commercials say. Thank you Nikki for an excellent review, I will definitely try it now!
Yay! I'm glad it got two thumbs up - it's on my list (just in case I ever get around to cleaning the outdoor windows).
