Windows

Janet Hunt
I have windows that I see through
I see where I'm going
I can see what I've been through

The window is small
Sometimes hard to pass through
If I look very closely
I can see you

You look far away
The path your going through
And I wonder, if you can look through your window
And see me too?

The window I see through
Shows me where I can go
Close beside you, it would be
So far from home

My window is here
The opportunity of what I want to be
Here at my window
I can look beyond the horizon

And catch a glimpse of me...

The window of opportunity often stays open even after we quit looking through it!
