The new Windows Mobile 7 platform seems to have an all new interface and all new functionality. I have loved previous versions of Windows Mobile and I believe Windows Mobile 7 will be no exception. Although these are all rumors, it seems pretty consistent with the rumored Zune Phone. Could it be possible that this new Windows Mobile platform is the same as the Zune Phone or could it possibly be two separate entities? There have also been rumors of "Project Pink" being different from the Windows Mobile 7 consumer phone. Project Pink began to surface in 2008 when Microsoft acquired Danger (makers of the T-Mobile Sidekick). If this is true, Microsoft will have three different sets of mobile phone software. Microsoft seems to have a lot of big things brewing in the labs concerning these current rumors. I am personally ready to know more details! The Windows Mobile 7 platform will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress Event on February 15, 2010.
