Windy City Chicago: Great Travel for All Ages

Mrs. Drake
Unlike Las Vegas, where i am, Chicago has so much more to offer. I love visiting my home town because there is so little to do and so easy to get bored here in las vegas; if you arn't the party type all the time. Chicago offers people of intellectual statue to enjoy themselves and learn more at the same time. Education isn't a big deal here in Las Vegas, which really makes me miss home. There are very few people here that you can actually have a descent conversation with.So many mothers are stripping and doing jobs of no moral standing.

If you want to just relax, you can drive downtown and check out the beautiful and tall buildings. You can visit the Sears Tower, which is a joke when you see the buildings in Nevada! You can also go to the Alder Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium,Navy Pier, Hancock Observatory, just to name a few. All these places are great for the children. There isn't enough for the young people under 21 to do in Las Vegas. I hope and pray that Las Vegas will take some of the ideas from Chicago and create some of these wonderful places to go to. For Example, Treasure Island, has a show that is so inappropriate for children, yet many children go to see it every half hour. The girls dance in almost nothing and act like strippers. The only nice part of the show is the pirates that actually dives into the water and do acrobatic stunts on the ship and then their ship actually sinks! Other than that, we are teaching or young children in Vegas that its ok to be vulgar and not be educated. Since my children are from Chicago, where education is the key, they don't like watching or seeing these stunts.

This city is beautiful for people coming and going and wanting to live out and do things they wouldn't do in their normal lives. What does that tell us?

Other great sightseeings are Architectural River Cruise, Gray Line South Shore Tour, Lakefront Skyline Cruise, Gray Line North Side Tour, which everyone loves! This is so relaxing and soothing. You should visit and try going on one of these cruises. I visited The Field Museum, Art Institute, Museum of Science and Industry, as a child and felt my brain just growing and soaking up all information every child should be exposed to. Children loves Chicago Children's Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, Kohl's Children's Museum, Brookfield Zoo, almost as much as the adults. These are just a few places to get you going!

You can also visit http://www.gochicagocard.com/?GCID=S18000x004-021&KEYWORD=tourist%20attractions%20chicago&MATCHTYPE=search for more info on chicago. Don't forget to try and go when the Wonderful Bears are playing so you can go to the game!!!!
