The backdrop of the sun setting among hills of rolling, green vineyards easily provides one of the most romantic settings to say "I Do." Whether you're a connoisseur or not, a wine country vineyard wedding is an elegant, classy and fun way for you and your guests to share in the celebration of your marriage. Here are some tips to give your vineyard wedding that extra special touch.

1. Themed Table Names

Instead of using traditional table numbers to assign your guests to their tables, use names of different wines. For instance, Table 1 can be "Chardonnay", Table 2 can be "Pinot Grigio", Table 3 can be "Riesling", and so on. You can put the table name in an elegant picture frame and below it have a brief description of the grape and wine to give your guests something fun to read and chat about. In addition, you can include a bottle of that particular wine on your table as part of your centerpiece. On your guests seating cards, you can include a cute saying such as "Jane Doe, Tonight's Drink: Chardonnay".

What better way to send your guests off than with a bottle of wine. It is the perfect way for them to remember your vineyard wedding. This party favor can either consist of just one wine choice, maybe you and your spouse's favorite wine, or you can offer your guests a selection of wines, maybe a red or white. Talk to your caterers and sommelier at your reception venue about pairing wines with each course of the meal. They should be able to pair a wine for every meal option available to your guests. 5. Wine Country Wedding Cake or Cupcakes

If you are having a traditional wedding cake, consider having subtle decorations including bunches of grapes and vineyards or wine glasses and bottles. The decoration can be in line with what you have your invitation to keep the theme carrying on through. You can also have your cake topper be a little bride and groom having their first drink together. If you decide on going with cupcakes, ask your baker if they can include a design on the top of each cupcake, also including a vine of grapes, or wine glass. It will make for a fun, different dessert that your guests can enjoy at your beautiful wine country wedding.
