Holy cow, this was a lot of fun! There were a TON of good submissions. We truly have some talented writers here on AC.
Sadly, we could only pick one winner.
Congratulations to Cristina Puno! Her entry, Peter O'Toole and Parallel Universes is a clever, super unique opening for a novel, and we can't wait to see where it goes.
Please note that we will be having a couple more contests this month in honor of NaNo WriMo!
Congrats to the winner, and thanks to all who participated. Keep your eyes peeled for more creative writing contests!

Post a CommentThis is the first I even HEARD of this contest ... haha, oh, well! Congrats, Cristina! :)
Great job, Cristina!
Okay, not meaning to put a damper on things as Chris Puno's entry IS excellent. However, I would have thought it would have been mandatory to have actually PUBLISHED something on AC before they could enter a competition like this (Chris Puno has never published anything on AC). And, no sour grapes either, as I didn't enter the competition myself. Just a bit surprised that's all???
Thanks everyone! I had a great time writing it. I guess this means it's mandatory that I finish it this November then ;) Again, thanks!
Congrats!
Congratulations, Christina!
Congrats Christina! Thanks for the update James.
Thanks for the announcement!
You're so good about keeping us posted, James. Thanks. I'll check it out as well.
Thanks, James. I'll have to check out the winning entry. :)
