Raw Brand: The Raw Brand destroyed SmackDown during the draft. Although they lost Randy Orton and Sheamus they were able to pick up Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, and Alberto Del Rio.
Randy Orton: Orton was the big winner in the WWE Draft. Orton was drafted from Raw where his competition consisted of Main Event Superstars like John Cena, The Miz, and CM Punk. Now he will compete on SmackDown where his competition is slim. The Main Event Superstars on SmackDown are dwindling. Edge retired a few weeks before the WWE Draft, Alberto Del Rio was drafted to Raw, and The Undertaker is out with an injury. With Christian being his only competition. Orton is already in the running for the World Heavyweight Championship, unless Cody Rhodes and Sheamus can step up their game.
Cody Rhodes: Rhodes must have had luck on his side during the WWE Draft. During the WWE Draft, SmackDown lost a majority of their heel Superstars. SmackDown saw Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, and Alberto Del Rio all get drafted to Raw. With all those Superstars being drafted, Rhodes has the opportunity to step up and become the top heel on SmackDown.
Sheamus: Sheamus is finally a SmackDown Superstar. Not to mention he lost the United States Championship at Extreme Rules. I thought Sheamus should have been a SmackDown Superstar months ago. A few months back Sheamus put his career on the line against Daniel Bryan. In my article titled "Should Sheamus Win the United States Championship". I pointed out that Sheamus should not win the United States Championship and lose to Daniel Bryan. Losing would allow Sheamus to move to SmackDown where he could have been one of the top Superstars on the show. Instead the WWE allowed Sheamus to defeat Bryan and win the United States Championship. Fast forward a few months, Sheamus is on SmackDown without the United States Championship. The same place I said Sheamus should have been months ago. Moving to SmackDown is still a good thing for Sheamus. Since he lost the United States Championship, it will not be long before he is competing for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Losers:
SmackDown Brand: The SmackDown Brand were losers because Raw ended up with to many of their Mid-Card and Main Event Superstars. SmackDown lost Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, and Alberto Del Rio. In return they gained Randy Orton and Sheamus. SmackDown also drafted Sin Cara, who is well know world wide, but has yet to prove himself in the WWE.
Drew McIntyre: McIntyre being drafted to Raw would have been a good thing, if all of his competition was not drafted along with him. McIntyre was unable to stand out on SmackDown while competing against fellow Mid-Card Superstars Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler, and Cody Rhodes. Now McIntyre finds himself in a similar situation on Raw. During the WWE Draft, Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston were also drafted to Raw. Besides competing against the Superstars that came over in the WWE Draft, he will have to compete against the Mid-Card Superstars that are already on Raw. Those Superstars include John Morrison, R-Truth, and Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler debuted on Raw a few months back and has been getting lost in the mix. Hopefully, McIntyre will not suffer the same fate as Ziggler.
Jack Swagger: Swagger is in the same boat as McIntyre; However, while he was still apart of SmackDown, he aligned himself with Michael Cole. Swagger coached Cole to victory at Wrestle Mania XXVII. A month later he teamed up with Cole at Extreme Rules . Where they defeated Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross in a Country Whipping Match. Swagger's alliance with Cole could be just what he needs to not suffer the same fate as McIntyre and Ziggler.
Zack Ryder: Despite the success of his web show, Ryder has not been given much time to shine on television. During the WWE Draft Ryder should have been moved to SmackDown where he could have been given that time. Instead he remained a Raw Superstar. A Raw Superstar that will remain an Under Card Superstar due to the Mid-Card and Main Event Superstars that made their way over from SmackDown. Those Superstars include Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, and Alberto Del Rio.
