Winnie the Pooh and Big Wheels Too! Christmas time at last!
Counting the days with Paw Paw's help, oh what a blast!

He made "twelve days of candy", a piece for each day.
And mama made dumplings in her own special way.

Apples and oranges and nuts for the cracking.
These filled my stocking, and nothing was lacking.

Peppermint rounds and toy trains tapping.
Not too loud now, Paw Paw is napping.

Family and friends, cousins and kin
Great big hugs as soon as they come in

The years go by and time ticks on
The house is now empty, the decorations gone.

But Christmas is in my heart although you can't always tell
In my mind I go back there and we all sit a spell

I see Mama's fuzzy slippers and paw paw's vinyl chair
A newspaper is in his lap and the smell of coffee in the air

We sit down by the tree and I can't believe it's true
There's a new Big Wheel bike and my old friend Winnie the Pooh.
