January 5th - Twelfth Night. This concludes the 12 days of Christmas, and is also known as Epiphany Eve. Shakespeare wrote a play of the same name to be performed during the Twelfth Night festival. One of the traditions of the night was shown in the play, of role reversals (a woman dresses as a man, a servant dreams of being a nobleman).
January 26th - Chinese New Year. It's the year of the Ox starting on this date. The Ox signifies tenacity.
January 30th - Full Moon - This is the first full moon of 2010.
February 2 - Groundhog's Day. If the groundhog sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter, according to myth. Would make your anniversary 2/2 as well.
February 14th - St. Valentine's Day. This one's an obvious one!
