Petit National Ice Center
This huge official Olympic Training Center has free skating, skate classes, and special events. Not an ice skater? You can enjoy a run or walk on their four hundred and fifty meter indoor track. When your done enjoying a walk, run, or skate you can consume loads of Wisconsin's favorites like Palermo's Pizza, Klement's Sausage, and Edy's Ice Cream at the concession stand.

Cross-country Skiing
Hit the trails for a great workout fun! All Milwaukee County Parks allow free cross-country skiing whenever snow is on the ground. The trails are open from dawn until 10pm

Tobagganing
One of my favorite winter activities is tobagganing. Bring the whole family and enjoy the tobaggan together. Whitnall Park's run features an exhilarating iced track and toboggans with metal runners. Tobagganing is dependent on snow cover.

Sledding
Milwaukee County has 16 parks that offer sledding hills. Many of the hills are lit for nighttime enjoyment.

Not the active, outdoor type? You can still enjoy winter in Milwaukee by visiting one of our great museums.

Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm,
Sunday noon - 5pm
Closed only on the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

Art Musuem
Open 7 days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Thursday, open until 8 p.m.

Discovery World
Hands on Science that will thrill children and adults! Wisconsin's newly re-designed Discovery World is a great destination for every family.

Pabst Theatre
The historic Pabst Theatre is a great place to enjoy live music anytime of the year. Live music from Jazz to Rock can be enjoyed throughtout the year. Visit http://www.pabsttheater.org/ for ticket information.

Marcus Center for the Performing Arts
