Utah is a place that is so dynamic that all types of people can find something that they love spending their time doing. Every season brings new activities to do. Winter is now upon us and at the season that most just want to stay inside and stay warm Utah offers a verity of activities one could do instead of doing nothing.

Winter brings snow, and snow brings out the skiers and snowboarders. It is said that Utah has the greatest snow on Earth, and I would have to agree. Utah offers many ski resorts that everyone from beginner to expert can enjoy. Resorts are as far south as Brian Head Resort near Cedar City and as far north as Bear Mountain near Logan. In between there is; Sundance, Park City, Brighton, The Canyons, Alta, and a few others. For a list of all resorts and information on each please visit here.

Snowmobiling is also a very popular activity here in Utah. There are hundreds of thousands of acres here in Utah that the active snowmobiler can enjoy. If you're looking for tours, snowmobile rentals, and great scenery I would suggest Thousand Peaks Snowmobile Adventures. It is located in Park City, UT the center to some of the greatest snow in Utah.

For those looking to stay warm, but want to experience Utah this winter, there are many open scenic routes through out Utah. Utah holds some of the most beautiful landscape and scenery, and then combined it with a blanket of snow it is breathtaking. If you haven't seen Bryce Canyon during the winter I would make sure to put that on your list.

For those who love the City, Salt Lake City offers everything that a city can offer. One of the must sees is Temple Square located at the center of the city. The Christmas light display there is one of a kind. One of the most amazing I have ever seen.

Utah offers many other activities some which include: cross country skiing, snowshoeing, Tuacahn's Christmas Festival of Lights is performed just outside of St. George, and even golf in the far south can be found through out the winter.
