Snowman
This winter bulletin board idea is a fun way to make snowmen indoors. For this idea you will need blue butcher paper, construction paper, glue, scissors, lids, markers, and scissors. Start by helping kids trace the lids onto pieces of white paper.
Then instruct elementary school children on how to glue one circle to the other by slightly overlapping the two circles. Then help kids decorate their snowmen using the markers and construction paper. Triangles can be hats, and rectangles can be scarves. Help each student decorate their snowman to reflect their personality.
While the kids are working on their snowmen cut several circles out of white paper. Fold them in half several times. Cut a few pieces out of the ends of the folded circles to make snowflakes. Then write the name of your class on the snowflakes.
Cover the bulletin board with the blue paper. Add the snowflakes to the bulletin board in the correct order. Help kids add their snowmen to the bulletin board or you can add them yourself. This is fun bulletin board idea that allows elementary school kids to express themselves.
Presents
Another winter idea for elementary school bulletin boards is presents. For this bulletin board you will need butcher paper, construction paper, scissors, markers, glue, and bows. For this craft provide all of the students with a few pieces of construction paper.
Help students decorate the paper using markers. Instruct students to use patterns, colors, and images that they enjoy. Elementary school students may also cut or alter the shape of the gift if they like. Then instruct students to cut a small rectangle of paper and write their name on it.
Help children glue their name tag to the present and add the bow as well. While the children are completing this craft cover the bulletin board with butcher paper. Add a message if you like to the center of the bulletin board about winter. Then help kids arrange the presents all over the bulletin board.
This elementary school idea is a fun way to decorate with kids for winter. Students will enjoy these projects, and they will make your classroom really stand out.
