Winter Chill

T.S. Garp
I'm waiting for the sun.
Waiting for the moon to come.

Waiting to feel alive.
Waiting for you, but I'm not surprised.

The whole message is clear.
Like a hundred thousand tears.

Sitting here waiting for the change to come.
Tumbling down a dream hole and burning into the sun.

Time waits for no one, and I'm crying.
Can't waste another moment, can't stop trying.

With my determination, I will see it true.
No more contemplation, I will make the right move.

With these hands I will make the journey.
Gather what I need and out the door in a hurry.

Climb the mountains of my mind.
Frozen windmills spinning across time.

Feel the wind blowing.
See the tumbling leaves falling.

Owls cry out who?
And you tell them it's someone new.

The seasons change with snow cover knees.
The chill turns gray the Northern seas

Pine trees fill the valley below.
The rocky mountains are bathed white in thick snow.

Such a winter wonder delight.
And the stars shine bright at night.

I will brave this winter chill.
And trek down the snowy hill.

See the folks at the local tavern in town.
Hear them laughing, merrily singing waiting for the waitress to make the rounds

Warm myself by the steaming fire.
Catch the eyes of an admirer.

Spend the day and night playfully wasting the time
Sharing company in this winter wonderland and happily drinking their wine.

No more waiting for the sun.
No more waiting for you to come.

Let this life ring on and on.
Can't you feel this..... Song?
